How we use your data

When you fill in a form in our showroom or online or provide information (data) about you orally as part of or in the expectation of a transaction, we will store information such as your name, address, telephone number and your email address to enable us to provide you with the service(s) which are directly related to your purchases. As an essential part of our bespoke and retail business and alongside sales and advice we also provide monthly and other occasional emails providing information and marketing (our “communications”).  The communications inform customers of our products and services, of promotions, offers and news, of good practices and insurances concerning the maintaining, repairing, safe keeping and protection of precious gems, stones and metals, of trends and developments within our sector which may be of interest or importance to customers and of any changes in the operation or practices within our business.

On the occasions that we receive data from you as just outlined and whether or not you have or subsequently make a purchase we will provide you with the opportunity to opt-in and thereby clearly affirm your wish, or not, to receive our communications.  Thereafter if you wish to change your preference please just email us:heidi@heidikjeldsen.co.uk

The communications themselves will each contain a simple electronic means to unsubscribe (opt-out) as well.  We would be very sorry if you wanted to do this and naturally happy, when asked, to reinstate you to the opt-in list: heidi@heidikjeldsen.co.uk

Whatever preference you may affirm or change from time to time GDPR permits us to send communications where a legal requirement rises or vital or legitimate condition prevails. Naturally you do not need to have made a purchase or to be a returning customer to receive these communications and your rights to opt – in and opt –out apply equally whatever the relationship.
