Simply charming naming pendants

By Heidi Kjeldsen - 23rd June 2015

In some of my recent blogs I have written about creating commission pieces of bespoke jewellery and either designing a piece unique to you, or redesigning an old family piece into being more contemporary and more suited to your style and taste.

Nothing is more unique to you than your child’s name or birth date, the theme of which makes for a much coveted and precious item of jewellery to wear.  Since The Duchess of Cambridge was recently seen sporting a charm on her necklace with Prince George’s name along with his date of birth engraved on it, the popularity associated with similar items of jewellery has soared.  Here is an example of a special Naming Pendant I designed recently.

From a flamboyant design to something more delicate and understated, whichever way you choose a personalised item of jewellery should always be worn close to your heart, making a beautiful pendant the obvious choice.  However any jewellery you choose to wear should be as unique as you, so earrings, rings and bracelets are all a possibility, using full names or merely initials as the theme.

Heidi Kjeldsen has the expertise to create your desired jewellery piece using CAD (Computer-aided design) technology in-house, which means the design can be tailored to your exact needs and budget.   You may even wish to remodel a family treasure to incorporate the name of a cherished one. The possibilities of jewellery designed using CAD are limitless, and we can create a bespoke item of jewellery that you will adore and wear forever.

Naming a baby is a big event for the family; having a piece of wonderful jewellery tailored for you with your precious family in mind is the perfect way to keep children close to your heart.  The finished creation will be HK hallmarked, and will be accompanied by a Valuation portfolio as well as a Lifetime Cleaning & Checking service, all included with the Heidi Kjeldsen service.
